Michelle and Kelly came down from Alaska to wed on a Waterways Cruise!  We met at Gasworks Park for some fun shots before the ceremony.

Just wanted to share more of the wonderful couples I got to work with over the summer wedding season!

The picture perfect day made my job easy!  After meeting this lovely couple last fall for engagement photos (see archives), it was so fun to reconnect for their elegant, summer wedding.   The day began with a first look by the UW’s Drumheller Fountain, then the ceremony was held nearby in the magical Sylvan Theater – a hidden gem on campus!  The reception followed a short ride away with more sophisticated chic at the Lake Union Cafe. Family and friends had a great time wishing these two amazing people all the best in their bright future. Special thanks to my 2nd shooter Chris Rusnak!

Val D’Allessio!

Recently returning from a trip to Texas for the Kerville Folk Festival, I met up with Seattle singer/songwriter Val D’Allesio to snap some pics for her new website (coming soon!)  This shoot was especially fun not only because I love the opportunity to work with musicians, but also because I had photographed Val about 14 years ago for an earlier cd.  Pretty neat to reconnect doing the things we still both love doing!  Special thanks to the super cool Little Cat Stevens who hung around and threw me a bone.

The DOGTONES @ Big Daddy’s

It was a rockin’ good time as dynamic rock/pop cover band THE DOGTONES played a fantastic benefit concert at premier nightclub Big Daddy’s in Woodinville.  The Party for the Cure! proceeds went to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  If you haven’t been to out to hear/dance to THE DOGTONES before, be sure to ‘friend’ them on Facebook so you won’t miss the next show of this “trio that sounds like a 9-piece band”.

The drummer is so hot he smokes! ( ;

I think there’s going to be some great vid of this gig too!

I believe he will, don’t you?

Boy did I have fun capturing, and -er- trying to capture this oh-so-cute three year old.  She was pretty in pink and full of that great toddler energy we all wish we could bottle!  Mom, Dad and 8-month old brother James also posed for some pics.  What a sweet family!

Madison gets ready to graduate!

With only one month or so to go before she gets her diploma from Cedarcrest High School, I met up with Madison on a rare sunny day at Tolt Park for her senior pictures.  We had a great time just wandering around the park finding colorful places to take the photos.  As lovely as the spring day and with many talents – see the guitar -I wish this young woman all the best in her bright future. Congratulations Maddie!

If you live in the Northwest you know that rain on your wedding day means GOOD LUCK!  Everyone who attended Stephanie and Ryan’s big day were indeed lucky to be part of such a special celebration held at the Pickering Barn. The couple was radiant with beauty and happiness to warm us all!

Shot with the much appreciated help of Chris Rusnak.

North Bend Starbucks show

•March 4, 2011 • Leave a Comment

I’m showing some prints at the North Bend Starbucks thru 3/12. It’s the Starbucks next to Safeway – not the one across the street. Stop by for a cup o’ joe if you’re in the neighborhood. (Need a reason to go to North Bend? How about the Factory Outlet Mall!?)  Here’s a look at some of the show.  I’m diggin’ the square format!
